-
Fulfilling the mission Christ gave the church—to “go and make disciples of all nations”—is impossible without strong, healthy leadership. While conversations about doctrine, theology, and practice are common, the crucial topic of leadership development and the path to grow and mature as a leader is often neglected. But it doesn’t have to be anymore. Our coaches, all fellow believers in Jesus, are uniquely equipped with the expertise to empower the body of Christ in living out its mission through the work and ministry of the local church. The people your church serves will thrive under the guidance of emotionally healthy, resilient, and servant-hearted leaders, pastors, and staff who are continually growing and developing in their roles.
-
As a ministry that partners with local churches to fulfill key roles, your work is truly invaluable! Like many ministries, leadership development is often reduced to a conference, a one-time session, or a “one-size-fits-all” program that may only partially address the unique needs and aspirations of your ministry. The Leadership Coaching Fellowship offers a dynamic, ongoing, and individualized leadership development experience, where your frontline leaders are empowered and championed in the critical work they are carrying out. We are passionate about being the driving force behind your mission, propelling your ministry forward and strengthening your impact. Let us be the wind in your missional sails!
THE FELLOWSHIP EXPERIENCE
ASSESSMENT
-
You can’t grow yourself as a leader if you don’t know yourself first. Understanding your strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations is crucial in your leadership journey. The Leadership Coaching Fellowship utilizes two unique assessments designed to provide deep insights into your personal and professional identity.
These assessments facilitate self-discovery by highlighting areas for growth and development, enhancing emotional intelligence, and improving interpersonal skills. The goal is to create a solid foundation for effective leadership by fostering a stronger sense of self-awareness.
By engaging with these tools, participants not only gain clarity about their leadership style but also learn how to leverage their unique qualities to inspire and lead others effectively. As you embark on this journey of self-exploration, remember that knowing yourself is the first step towards becoming the leader you aspire to be.
-
The Leadership Coaching Fellowship employs two essential assessments: the Iris Survey and CliftonStrengths. The Iris Survey focuses on evaluating your current emotional well-being, providing insights into your present emotional realities and soft-skills reportoire. In contrast, the CliftonStrengths assessment identifies and helps you understand your inherent talents and strengths, allowing for a comprehensive view of your abilities developed over time. Together, these tools create a robust framework for personal and leadership development, facilitating a deeper self-awareness and effective growth strategies.
-
Once you've completed your application and paid the application fee, you will receive an email containing instructions for taking the CliftonStrengths and Iris Survey. The process is straightforward, and the results can significantly impact your personal and professional development. Be prepared to gain valuable insights that can enhance your understanding of your strengths and preferences.
-
The Iris Survey consists of two significant parts designed to deliver an in-depth understanding of an individual's current psychological state and soft skill set. The first part focuses on evaluating what is consistently true for the individual in their daily life, while the second part aims to identify what they aspire to become on a day-to-day basis in the future.
The CliftonStrengths assessment complements this by analyzing how individuals typically engage in leadership, categorizing their tendencies into four main domains: Influencing, Executing, Thinking, and Relational Building. Together with personalized coaching, both assessments are positioned to facilitate the growth of individuals into emotionally healthy and confidently resilient servant-leaders. This dual approach not only fosters self-awareness but also equips individuals with the strategies needed to enhance their effectiveness in servant-leadership roles.
-
The Iris Survey and CliftonStrengths Assessment are integral components of your Leadership Coaching Fellowship journey. These tools are designed to provide insights into your strengths and help you understand your leadership style more deeply. Both assessments will be made available to you as soon as you have completed your application and fee payment, ensuring you can dive into your coaching experience fully prepared.
PREPARATION
-
Using the CliftonStrengths Assessment, individuals can gain valuable insights into their inherent qualities and limitations. Understanding your strengths is essential for authentic leadership and personal development.
Upon receiving your Iris results, you will uncover potential factors contributing to your most significant challenges and obstacles. This awareness is the first step toward fostering emotional health and resilience in your leadership journey. By recognizing these elements, you can develop strategies that align with your strengths, enabling you to navigate your personal and professional landscape with greater confidence and effectiveness. Embracing who you are can lead to more intentional and impactful leadership practices and coaching journey.
-
Investing in your strengths instead of focusing on your weaknesses can transform your personal and leadership journey. By focusing on areas where you excel, you enhance effectiveness, engagement, and satisfaction in work and life. This creates motivation, productivity, and innovative solutions. As a leader, maximizing your strengths fosters authenticity, inspiring trust and loyalty in teams. Focusing on your strengths increases happiness, performance, and engagement, significantly impacting you and those around you.
-
We all have them. But what happens when they’re called to step into the spotlight? With intentional strategies and thoughtful tactics, your greatest weaknesses can transform into some of your most powerful opportunities for authentic self-expression.
-
When you truly understand your strengths, you can tackle any project or task with confidence, in a way that aligns with your true self. This approach not only makes the work more energizing and enjoyable but also ensures you achieve your goals with greater ease and efficiency. It’s absolutely possible!
-
Life is lived alongside and in connection with others. Understanding your strengths can dramatically enhance your relationships and elevate your communication with those in your sphere of influence, fostering deeper connections and greater impact.
